The honest FAQ

Do I need a license to apply?

No. We walk you through the entire licensing process from start to finish — exam prep, fingerprinting, application, and contracting. Important to know: your license is issued by your state's Department of Insurance (or Department of Licensing, depending on the state) — it's a real, state-issued credential. Not a certificate from us. Everything you earn the right to do as a licensed agent comes from your state, not from New Era. We just coach you through it.

How long until I'm earning?

Our system is built so you start earning from day one. We aim to get every new agent paid within their first 48 hours licensed — that's Competition 01, baked into the onboarding. From there, your income reflects your work. Hit the activity, hit the income. The math doesn't lie.

What does Training Camp cost?

The training itself is free. Two ways to get there: (1) we sponsor select agents based on early performance — meaning we cover travel and lodging to San Antonio; (2) if you don't qualify for sponsorship yet, you cover your own travel and lodging. Either way, the camp itself costs you nothing. Most agents see this as the highest-ROI investment they make in their career. It's the difference between a rookie and a closer.

Is this MLM or a real career?

Real career. Producer Track agents earn off their own production. Builder Track agents earn off their team's production — but only after meeting real leg and BP requirements. There is no buying a course. No recruiting fees. No pyramid scheme here. You earn what you produce, and overrides are based on real team-building work.

Where are you located?

We're headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, with our second main office in Austin. We also have offices in multiple other states and a full virtual sales team — so wherever you're based, there's a path in.

What does the application process look like?

Apply through our funnel. Watch the films. Book a one-on-one interview (in person or Zoom). You'll have a decision within 24 hours. We move fast. We expect you to do the same.
