The people behind your policy.
A founder-led firm with a real bench. One half of this page takes care of clients. The other half makes sure the agent sitting across from you was trained, licensed and supported long before they picked up the phone. Both of those matter to you.
Leadership & client services
The people responsible for the standard, the carrier relationships, and what happens to your policy after it's placed.
Angel Moreno
Founder of New Era Financial. A former multi-sport collegiate athlete and collegiate coach — and a current competing MMA athlete — who moved through blue-collar work and real estate before building a career in financial services. He owns the firm's standards, carrier strategy, and training doctrine, and specializes in both financial services and real estate. In his rookie year he helped over 500 families — top 1% of producers nationally — and he still works client cases himself and runs agent development personally. Based in San Antonio; licensed and producing nationwide.
Emma Padilla
Emma runs client services and carrier contracting for the firm. She keeps every policy in force on the books and owns the client relationship after placement — policy service, beneficiary updates, carrier follow-through, and claims support. She's the reason a case reaches the right carrier desk and a client's question gets an actual answer instead of a hold queue.
Agent development & operations
A licensed agent is only as good as the training and support behind them. This is that bench — the people who decide who gets to represent New Era, and who make sure they're ready long before they sit down with a family.
Daniel Martinez
Daniel owns who gets through the door. He runs the recruiting pipeline end to end — screening, interviews, and the hire decision — then stays with those hires on the training floor at the San Antonio office. He makes sure new agents are actually showing up to training, and gets them help the moment a script or a product isn't landing. He's the bridge between the firm's standards on paper and what actually happens on the floor on a Tuesday afternoon. Daniel is a licensed agent himself and still sits with families alongside the agents he hires.
Zoe Byrd
Zoe owns the agent journey from the moment someone signs on. She runs onboarding end to end — licensing, carrier contracting, systems access — and gets a new agent fully set up before their first call. After that she's the person a rookie actually texts: the basic question nobody wants to ask in a group chat, the paperwork that stalled, the carrier portal that won't load. She owns agent relationships from day one onward. Her scoreboard is simple: how fast a new agent gets licensed, how many are helping families inside thirty days, and how many are still helping families at ninety.
Field leadership
Our producing managers lead agent teams — daily training, case consultation, and client escalation. Managing Directors run the San Antonio floor; Field Directors run our virtual operations nationwide. Every manager still sits with families themselves. Nobody here coaches from a chair they never sat in.
Justin Caleb Reeves
Helped more than 400 families in a single year — top 1% of producers nationally. Runs the San Antonio floor and leads his own agent team: daily training, case consultation, and client escalation. Managers report up through him.
Braden Galvan
Runs the San Antonio floor and leads his own agent team — daily training, case consultation, and client escalation. He also owns floor training for the office: the agent trainers report to him. Managers report up through him.
Mario Jimenez
Runs the San Antonio floor and leads his own agent team — daily training, case consultation, and client escalation. Managers report up through him.
Davion Rice
Leads virtual operations — remote agent teams, daily training, case consultation, and client escalation outside Texas.
Kevin Huynh Pham
Leads virtual operations — remote agent teams, daily training, case consultation, and client escalation outside Texas.
Adrian Salas
Leads an in-person agent team — daily training, case consultation, and client escalation for his premium producers.
